Yahoo ! released Mail and Messenger app for Android 2.0 platform and HTML 5 web app .

Yahoo!  now launched   its official applications  for email , messenger and news on Android platform.  These apps are available for worldwide for all  Android devices which has OS version 2.0 or above.  With these two applications and search widget Yahoo is now deeply integrated on Android devices.
Main features of Yahoo! Mail App for Android are : 

• Push notification of new email messages·
• Integration of  Yahoo! Address Book and native phone address book·
•  Email search·
• Photo upload   

 
Main features of Yahoo! Messenger App for Android are

• Easy messaging to friends, checking friends’ status updates & availability as well as updating   own status & availability.
•  Send instant messages to friends via SMS text messages in certain supported countries.
• Continues to work in background and receives push notification.
•  Full use of emoticons and rich text formatting. 
• Send photos to friends directly from the phone’s camera or the photo gallery

 
 
 
The new HTML 5 mobile web application works for iPhone and iPod touch. This mobile web application offers capability of offline mail access, local search. Also user will be able to view/compose e-mails with photos and videos.
